Former Obama Officials Suggest European States Expel U.S. Ambassadors Over Iran Deal

Just when it appeared the Resistance hatred for Trump couldn't reach a higher level of depravity, former Obama administration officials side with the Iranian mullahs against President Trump.

Quote:

Europe Doesn't Have to Be Trump's Doormat," wrote Steven Simon and Jonathan Stevenson. Simon served as the National Security Council's senior director for the Middle East and North Africa, while Stevenson served as the regional director for political-military affairs.

After months of swaggering hesitation, President Trump finally announced the United States' withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran, to which Britain, France, Russia, China, Germany, and the European Union are also parties," they wrote. "This action tramples on European leaders, who urged Mr. Trump to exercise restraint in the interest of international security and multilateralism."

The two men urged European countries to go beyond "mere words" and counter Trump's withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal with real, concrete actions.

"The European Union could, for instance, announce the withdrawal of member-states' ambassadors from the United States,"
The fact that Obama decided to make the accord with the Iranian theocracy an executive agreement rather than a binding treaty or that the Iranian regime held the agreement in such contempt they never signed it, what's important is loyalty to Obama by attacking Trump. :o

Methinks the formerly meaningful Obamaites got it backwards. We will no longer be the doormat for Europe.

Or Iran, or Korea.

I love it when John Kerry and other Obama Admins say that the US is wrong for backing out of a deal arranged by previous presidents...

Ummmm...

Didn't Obama back out of the defense missile system for Europe after Bush43 negotiate the arrangement?...:yes :yes :yes

Obama abandons missile defence shield in Europe

Quote:

Barack Obama has abandoned the controversial Pentagon plan to build a missile defence system in Europe that had long soured relations with Russia.

In one of the sharpest breaks yet with the policies of the Bush administration, Obama said the new approach would offer "stronger, swifter and smarter" defence for the US and its allies. He said it would focus on the threat posed by Iran's short- and medium-range missiles, rather than its intercontinental nuclear capabilities.

Obama announced the reversal officially at a news conference today. "This new approach will provide capabilities sooner, build on proven systems to offer greater defences to the threat of attack than the 2007 European missile defence programme," he said.

He phoned the leaders of Poland and the Czech Republic last night to tell them he had dropped plans to site missile interceptors and a radar station in their respective countries. Russia had furiously opposed the project, claiming it targeted Moscow's nuclear arsenal.
But this was Obama...

...so it's "different"...:rolls

No demands for a special persecutor or 911 style commission to investigate collusion with the Russians. :eek

IMO Kerry went to Iran to help them undermine Trump. I would not doubt if he told them to strike back against US interests and then reminded them that Americans can't stomach war. After all, if they start a war, Democrats and the MSM will side with Iran and attack Trump 24/7.
