Default Actors cold read hard facts from teleprompter for ‘feminism’ project. Their reactions

My fav part is the chick that says, "Wait, I thought this was about feminism."

Got that? Most peeps actually think "feminism" is victim-hood status. If ya show 'em certain areas where women are equal or superior to men it can't be feminism.

So, to review, feminism is advocacy of rights for women and equality of the sexes; but once women become equal in certain areas, it's no longer feminism.

Yes, peeps are that stoopid.

Actors cold read hard facts from teleprompter for ‘feminism’ project. Their reactions are priceless.

Several actors were recently filmed in what they thought was a public service announcement on feminism — but they couldn’t have been more wrong.

Conservative street reporter Austen Fletcher, creator of Fleccas Talks, helmed the video project, which he shared on his YouTube channel and titled, “Actors Cold Read Facts on FEMINISM Off of a Teleprompter.”

What are the details?

In the video, Fletcher and his team encourage the actors to cold read facts from a teleprompter that completely shut down feminists’ notion of the patriarchy, toxic male masculinity, and the gender wage gap.

The actors’ responses in some cases are outright comical.

The video begins with simple text, which says, “We held an open casting call for an Honest PSA,” and continues with a producer telling the actors about the project in which they’ll be taking place.

“So basically what we’re doing here today, we’re having people read real facts about a variety of subjects,” the producer says. “These are all true facts, and we’re wanting to capture real, honest reactions to what the facts are.”

What did the facts say?

Simple text then pops up on the screen that reads, “They are reading these facts for the first time.”

One of the actor participants reads a blurb about the wage gap, which effectively explains that the wage gap statistic that a woman earns 77 cents to every dollar a man earns is figured by skewed reporting and incomplete supporting information.

By the time the participant finishes her sentence — in which she reads, “When such relevant factors are considered, the wage gap narrows to the point of vanishing” — she looks perplexed, and thoughtfully adds, “Hmm.”

Near the conclusion of the video, another of the actresses, apparently feeling duped, says, “I thought this was like, feminism. … I’m realizing what this is now.”

The video had received over 86,000 views, and that number is quickly climbing.

The women at the end says something akin to "I thought this was a feminist bit." like that if she had known it was just facts, she would not have participated. And that is the issue in most cases. Some people have their minds made up regardless of facts and won't be persuaded with those facts to change their minds.

My wife has worked in an office for 4 years. About 6 months ago, she was offered a promotion to a position that was recently vacated. The position would not require more hours. For me it was a no-brainer, It was a great opportunity with more pay for the same hours. She turned it down because, "I'm happy where I'm at. I don't want that job." There was another woman working there that may have been in line for the job, though my wife says she doesn't know if she was offered it or not. However, that woman indicated to my wife prior to this that she was not interested in the job because she took a lot of time off from work to care for her daughter and didn't think she would be able to do that if she took the job.

A man was hired for the job. At the small company she works at. There are three men and four women. All three of the men are in the highest paying jobs and one of the women is. However, if my wife had taken the job. It would have been two men and two women in the highest paying positions. So my wife helped create a wage gap at her place of employment.

So while this is merely anecdotal. It illustrates how some men and women think differently about their priorities and for me adds validity to what things like this video are saying about the wage gap.
