My car according to Obama:
'97 Geo Metro LSI. This car is a great buy @ $2500 Low miles, perfect maintenance record, pristine condition. It gets 35 MPG and has never had a bit of trouble.

Reality:
'97 Goe Metro. 220,000+ miles. I haven't a clue what the maintenance record was like before I bought it. It has occassional starting problems and gets about 30 MPG. It's worth about $800.

How the left would see the difference:
It's a '97 Geo Metro, just like he said and it does get good gas mileage.

'Cause I'm straight... I was talking with my homosexual BIL one day and he called the Miata "the official gay sports car" since half of his homosexual friends drove them (undoubtedly an exaggeration, since my wife's family is prone to such things).

Actually the Metro is up for sale. I picked up a Suzuki Grand Vitara with 8,600 miles on it in top condition (dealer demo model) for $14,000, so the Geo's going up for sale to someone who needs a high MPG car and can do a little repair work on it. It'd be a great high schooler's car as long as the kid can do some basic repair work on it.

Ya know I used to think that the Miata was kind of a chick car. But I bought one at an auction. And man they are great cars. And they haul ass. I would love to live somewhere where I don't need a car at all. I kinda like Hong Kong.

Warning ahead of time: These are random thoughts and don't actually coalesce at any point.

I once owned a Sprint (the father of your Metro) and got 52 in town and 63 open road actual miles/gal gas.
I used to drive a Carmengia in the 70's for awhile, but I'm not gay or anything.
Once I was hitch hiking using a customized version of the Monroe technique-high heels (with silver mesh and sequins) and a hot pants outfit, long hair flowing in the breeze. A sporty car screeched to a stop and backed up for me. I had to ride on the middle thingy between the seats. There were only two seats and they were already ocupodo by a couple of young Italian looking guys. When I got out at my destination I swore off everything but sedans forevermore.
Back to the President/car analogy:
We should have looked closer under Regan's hood. Cobwebs.
