Default TV commercial to impeach Trump

Tom Styer (not sure of the spelling) left winger is spending his money on adds to impeach Trump.

Never have I ever seen such a thing ever done before. I am surprised that a TV network would even allow it to be aired. Disapointed that they are to.

It think this is very UNAMERICAN of anyone, and of a net work to allow it.

Makes me madder than ever at the left wing idi%^$ in our nation.

It should never be allowed to happen. Especially when there are no grounds for impeachment....

I will hate Democrats for the rest of my life over this last election cycle. Many of us feel this way. Revolutions start at times like these, I think.

So what do you make of these advertisements?

Regards, Kirk

I haven't seen it during a show except for when I'm watching xFinity OnDemand...and his name is Steyer...

I want it played a gazillion times a day...along with the looney impeachment bills, this ad just shows the even further-left lurch and will alienate the middle...

1) Free speech is now "unAmerican"?
2) You don't need any excuse to be mad at Democrats.
3) I think you guys fail to appreciate how popular impeaching Trump is.

If I were you, I would be more worried about what the POTUS is doing to alienate the middle America...

Here's the ad.

Thank you for numbering your points, it makes it easier for clear and concise responses.

#3 - However 'popular' it may be, do these same people actually understand how impeachment works? Do they understand the consequences of impeachment? For many, the answer to both questions is a resounding NO. It just sounds good to them, like they scored a victory - until they suddenly realize they'll have Pence in the driver's seat, not HRC.

It will be as embarrassing for the Democrats as was the attempts to repeal the PPACA for the Republicans.

They play it just about every hour or so on CNN, along with that one about this is an apple.

I don't think he said that. I think he's saying the content of their speech is un-American. A subtle but important difference.

Funny how the word "content" is completely missing in his actual statement...

If anything, the TV network "allowing it to be aired" is more on the lines of capitalism. Which is very "American"...

That's a decent point.
I think we would find Pence would be more effective at pursuing a more right-wing objective. The "Russia" card would likely evaporate.

I suspect Pence would be less likely to appoint people like DeVos and his comments wouldn't be as knee-jerk as Trump.

Regardless, there were 4 or 5 items listed at the start of that video. All of those at Trump's door-step and I think Pence's hands are clean.
If the interest is really in removing a President who is perceived as guilty of those offenses, then "Pence" would be simply be a byproduct of the main goal.

I really don't follow that at all.
To me, Trump as a president is a bigger embarrassment. If he had a (D) behind his name instead of an (R), right-wingers on this forum would easily agree with that assessment...

The survey shows a difference between impeach and not impeach that most probably is within the margin of error. Democrats have staked their political future on a campaign of mindless resistance to Trump, only the complete political and personal destruction will do, it is unreasonable to expect anything but endorsement of impeachment.

Trump is somehow alienating middle America by refusing to resign in response to the vapid rhetoric of a Leftist billionaire. Not hardly.

That would be true IF it were across the board...

But it's NOT...

Here's the very same CNN just a few months ago...

CNN refuses to air new Trump ad criticizing journalists

Quote:
President Donald Trump’s ongoing feud with the media, and CNN in particular, continues apace.

The latest flare-up comes from CNN refusing to air a new Trump ad that maligns specific anchors on the network as enemies of the president. Titled “Let President Trump Do His Job,” the ad blames both Democratic politicians (like Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Maxine Waters) and network journalists (like Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper) for “obstructing” Trump’s agenda. In typical Trump style, the ad also boasts of his achievements, like “more Americans working than ever before” and “all-time record highs” for the stock market.
Looks like "capitalism" got "trumped" by a selective media outlet...

Lemme guess...That was "different"...
