Default North Korean leader Kim Jong Un calls recent missile launch a 'prelude to containing

Now trump says all options are on the table. What happened to fury and all that shlt? Last week trump said Kim was starting to respect us. Bigly

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has said that his country's most recent missile launch is "a meaningful prelude to containing Guam," North Korea's state-run news agency, Korean Central News Agency, reported.

On Tuesday morning local time, North Korea launched an intermediate-range missile that flew over Japan before landing in the Pacific Ocean 733 miles east of Cape Erimo, the southernmost point on Hokkaido Island, according to the Japanese government.

The South Korean military said the missile, known in North Korea as a Hwasong-12, flew 1,667 miles horizontally and about 310 miles at its top altitude after being launched.

The launch spurred an alert from Japan's emergency warning system as the missile passed overhead. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe later addressed the incident, saying Japan was collecting information on the launch and taking "all possible measures to ensure our people's safety."

That's not exactly what the President said. In context he express the probability that such was not so.

Speaking to supporters at a campaign-style rally in Phoenix, Arizona, the President sought to juxtapose his administration’s tougher approach with his predecessors.

You see what’s going on in North Korea? Who knows?” Trump said. “Kim Jong Un, I respect the fact that, I believe, he is starting to respect us.”

Echoing comments made by his Secretary of State earlier in the day, in which Rex Tillerson said that North Korea had exercised restraint by not testing missiles in August, the President suggested that there was potential for dialogue with Pyongyang.

“Maybe, probably not, something positive can come about,” he said. “They [the media] won’t tell you about that.”

Perhaps your source did not tell you as the President Predicted. Or perhaps you refused to hear it.

And the Mad mad KJU didn't respect us or the Chinese, who have been putting pressure on the DPRK to stop the provocative missile launches.

KJU wants to complete the task of re-uniting the north and south Korea's under Communist rule. I suspect there is little any nation, or any one, can do to stop that but the South Koreans themselves.

I'll wager the diplomats and generals are working to persuade S Korea to be prepared for an invasion which is more likely than a missile attack on the USA by the little mouse that roars.
