Default The far right and the far left

Just last night (Friday, 8/18/17), I watched a show on 20/20 entitled, "A Fractured America."

It was about the hate groups on the far right and the far left, which collided in Charlottesville, Virginia recently; and were both in Boston today.

But it left the viewer with the impression that he (or she) must be with either one or the other.

And this surely begs the question: Since when is it mandatory to embrace either neo-Nazis and the KKK, or else anarchists and Marxists?

I am betting that most people (myself among them) find both to be highly distasteful--to say the least...

People are pissed about the country having elected an idiot racist. So you end up with a reaction. Anarchists and Marxists I don't see. I do see people fed up with the hate in this country and the need to defend their rights. It ain't right or pretty but it's the result of fuqing the country up out of partisan hate. You reap what you sow.

How about Communists or are they too ideologically connected to Democrats?

I see no difference between Communists and today's Democrat Party "progressives." I put "progressive" in quotes, because they are actually regressive.

They're nowhere near ideologically connected to Democrats lol. Democrats aren't pushing anything resembling communism. Even the most progressive and left wing thinkers in the Democratic Party have capitalism as dominant in economics.

I agree that most Democrats I know state that they believe Capitalism is the preferred method of commerce, but the problem they have is that they also promote large social programs that require a perversion of capitalism to be funded. They need to learn that the only way capitalism works effectively, is to be unencumbered by over reaching government programs and government cronies.
