Must've been the Mcain rallies making him violent, eh?...

I've been working the phone banks with the local Obama team. Many years ago,I was in charge of a boiler room....I've heard it all..

This has been the most exciting election to date but it's also been very frustrating. I could have obtained an absentee ballot but there's something magical about showing up at the polls but it can't happen a day to soon for me.This two year process as worn most of us out.

The next election will be worse...

I imagine the first discussions for 2012 will start November 6th...

While I disagree with the violent sentiment and pointless emotionality of it, I too am tired of Joe the Plumber.
He's just an average guy who talked back to Obama, but he is NOT a role model.
He lied in his question to Obama.
He needs to get current on his taxes. (Gee. Was that the fault of the Democrats?)
His opinions on the issues are no more inciteful or interesting than the average person on the street. Most people here put up a better argument than he does.
And his agreement with *Obama presidency will lead to the destruction of Israel* comment just demonstrate to me that we've given air time to an unvetted and clueless pundit.

These complaints have nothing to do with him being a "plumber", but for some reason "plumber" seems to be the best qualification he's got for this media attention...

Yowza.
I don't envy you.

I pre-voted last week, and there was already a steady line...

Pretty neat trick.
No. Scratch that. Boring and lame trick...

Cause you see, YOU brought him up.
And the reason he came up was cause John McCain brought him up again, and somebody else got tired of that ...

So yes. I will comment on a thread that YOU started that I am tired of seeing him in the news and I think he has no real place as any kind of pundit icon.

You? I can come here and see what you (cnredd) have typed cause you've got something interesting to say and some THOUGHT to back it up.
But Joe the Plumber? No way, no how.

If Joe the Plumber were managing a web forum, there is no way I would be a regular there...
