Joy is a retarded skank of the lowest order.

This isn't the first time (nor last) that she'll let manure flow outta her mouth.

Quote:
As Rep. Steve Scalise lay in his hospital bed recovering after he was shot by a maniac gunman who was hunting congressional Republicans, an MSNBC host asked whether the House Majority Whip’s life-threatening injuries meant Americans had to “ignore” his political positions.

Joy Ann Reid on Saturday cited Scalise’s positions on ObamaCare and gay marriage as among the concerning “moral” issues she felt couldn’t be overlooked despite his critical injury at the hands of a left-leaning lunatic who opened fire at a GOP baseball practice on June 14.

“There’s a whole country out there and a lot of people, at least in my Twitter timeline, and it’s a delicate thing, because everybody is wishing the congressman well and hoping that he recovers, but Steve Scalise has a history that we’ve all been forced to sort of ignore on race,” Reid said.

She added later: “He also co-sponsored a bill to amend the Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. He co-sponsored the House health care bill which, as you said, would gut health care for millions of people including 3 million children and he co-sponsored a bill to repeal the ban on semiautomatic weapons. Because he is in jeopardy and everybody is pulling for him, are we required in a moral sense to put that aside in the moment?”

I've read the story and no where in it does it infer or imply that "MSNBC host Joy Reid thinks that the shooting of Congressman Scalise was justified."

The Daily Caller article only addresses one thing. Joy Reid was attacking Scalise's record and history while Scalise is still in the hospital. Apparently the Daily Caller believes that Scalise needs to defend his history and record because it's so bad.

A politician's record speaks for itself and if it's a good record then no defense of it is necessary. If it's a bad record then no amount of rationalization in defending it is going to turn it into a good record.

So why does the Daily Caller believe that the Scalise record basically sucks and needs Scalise to personally defend it?

The Daily Caller is less credible than World Net Daily if that is possible.

So this was fake news. You might not like Joy Reid criticizing the congressman's record as a legislator, but nowhere did she try to justify him being shot.

this lie is also being used as a gross attack add in Georgia right now. even republicans are calling it low down.
Well, "this lie" was apparently believed by fellow MSNBC host (of another show) Joe Scarborough, who "was disgusted by Joy Ann Reid," according to Gateway Pundit. [Bold in original]

And in Barb Wire, Tony Perkins writes this:

"Fellow MSNBC host Joe Scarborough could hardly believe his eyes. In a string of social media posts, he fires back at Reid. 'If you are attacking Steve Scalise's voting record right now, do yourself a favor and just stop now. I can't even believe what I'm seeing. Who would even think for one second that it is appropriate to attack a man who is fighting for his life after an assassination attempt?' As for Scalise’s values, he tweets, 'So let me get this straight. If you're a practicing Catholic and you believe what the church says, you are open to attack after being shot? He's fighting for his life right now. What is wrong with you? Until he's out of ICU, why don't you take it up with the Pope?'"

However, since these are not either from Reuters or C-Span, you may choose to disbelieve them...

Another mouth-breather full of hate that thinks Scalise had it comin'.

Watch: Fox anchor demolishes Scott Pelley over comment that Scalise shooting was ‘self-inflicted’ – TheBlaze

Quote:
Fox News anchor Trish Regan excoriated CBSs Scott Pelley after he suggested that Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) was somehow asking to be shot during last weeks GOP congressional baseball practice.

During the Thursday broadcast of CBS Evening News, Pelley said, Its time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress yesterday was foreseeable, predictable, and to some degree self-inflicted. Too many leaders and political commentators who set an example for us to follow have led us into an abyss of violent rhetoric which it should be no surprise has led to violence.
