The last few weeks are a example of more to come. But the course must be stayed. Otherwise we lose the country.
Agreed. And just for the record, I wasn't suggesting anything new but the leadership. The laws are, after all, on the books.

But then that is the problem of the Alt left.

And frankly the GOP Mainstream elite. Both have kicked this can down the road for years promising to answer the need for Comprehensive Immigration reform. When a politician says the word "Comprehensive" grab your wallet and your @ss ,,,; because both are at risk.

Comprehensive immigration reform is doublespeak for amnesty now with promises of immigration security later. It is the same hustle Reagan signed off on back in the 80's.

Democrats have created this paradigm where enforcing immigration laws is treated as illegal activity and illegal aliens are treated as innocent victims. The laws are simply advisory, exemptions to be granted at the will of politicians.

Voter ID and accurate records would help in many cases. Wouldn't the registry process have solved the problem? Name, SS#, address, citizen status and checked against a data base. It's not draconian or mean. If a simple, tight, effective system was in place to begin with, investigating and prosecuting those who deliberately or accidentally scammed the process might be a rare thing. Right now, it's after the fact. She voted in other elections.
