Default Joe the Plumber

If you don't know the story by now, "Joe the Plumber" was a guy who asked Obama a question and it was being videotaped...

Since there was no teleprompter present, Obama forgot to steer clear of his socialist agenda and outright blurted that he wants to spread around everyone's money so the people who become successful are forced to help people that are either unsuccessful or outright not even trying to be successful and live off of the government's dole...

Here's the video...

Now, of course, the issue is Obama's response and his position on taxes...

BUT...

The Left sees this as someone DARING to question the Anointed One...

So what are they doing?...You got it...

Attacking Joe the Plumber...

It seems to me that the Republicans could have chosen a better poster child in an effort to bolster John McCain’s come back hope. I will also make the observation that this whole thing has a WAG THE DOG feel to it.

Feel free to post your own JOE THE PLUMBER facts, links and trivia. I have a good nose for bull shit and man my bull shit detector is off the dial right now with this guy.
Notice how the issue of Obama isn't even mentioned...

It's just "attack the guy who dared to ask a question to the Lamb of Chicago"...

And, as sure as the sun rises, we have the obligatory "Joe is a racist" line because he said that Obama's answer to him was "a tap dance...almost as good as Sammy Davis, Jr."

Quote:
Do you think McCain would have said his name a couple dozen times if he wasn't a plant in the first place. Plus, a racial slur, as well. He;s the new Sarah Palin!

Saying that Obama "tap dances"? Comparing him to Sammy Davis Jr.? Thats playing with some pretty serious racial-stereotype fire. I really hope the GOP doesnt try to hijack this guy and make him a poster boy... it'll only blow up in their faces like everything else they've tried.

this guy is a plant - another tactic that we've seen this election cycle. 1. joe - just like joe sixpack; fits the mccain everyman meme 2. white working class man - obama's toughest group, media eats this up 3. ohio - the battleground 4. plumber - you usually listen when a plumber talks 5. media self-love - this is exactly the type of guy that all the media pundits like to think that they 'get' 6. sammy davis jr. - wtf? subtle racial stab? remember when mark halperin had that pic where obama was sammy davis jr back in march? this whole thing smells like it was cooked up in a mccain strategy session - one last stunt for old time's sake. Obama-Biden '08

So comparing Obama to Sammy Davis isn't a racist comment?

Seems like your typical latent racist ditto-head

Joe sure knows the racist code doesn't he? He might as well have called Obama just a shuckin' n' jivin' n_____. It wouldn't surprise me if Joe was a plant. It appeared to me that Obama was very straight with him (though he wasn't straight with Obama)--he told him something that Joe didn't want to hear, and why is taxes would go up on the marginal rate.

Racist *******

Good job, Joe. The Republicans could have used you until that little racist comment slipped out of your red neck mouth.
Stay classy...

Character assassination is what happens to people who have character... This man is operating as a plumber without a license and is behind in taxes. Would you care to show me where one's character was assassinated?

This has nothing to do with Barack, it has everything to do with McCain picking the wrong example of middle-class virtue.

This was the funniest line in the original post showing the attacks on JtP...

Quote:

Yeah...

Joe must've used his vulcan mind-meld...

From the Toledo Blade...

Quote:
Mr. Wurzelbacher was playing football in his front yard with his son, Joey, on Sunday afternoon when Mr. Obama made an unscheduled stop to go door to door greeting voters and asking for their support.
I'm sure he said to his son "Hey!...

Let's go play football out in the front yard just in case a presidential candidate decides to stop by and I can get him to show himself as a socialist."...

This doesn't help your case... We still haven't seen this great image of America coming from this man.

Once again....

THIS MAN should not be the issue...It's a distraction while AVOIDING the real issue, which is Obama's pure, 100%, prime-cut socialist answer...

1. Obama isn't a socialist, he's a liberal. There is a difference.
2. McCain made Joe the Plumber an issue by exalting him as the prime example of good Americans being hurt by Obama's polices.
3. Joe the Plumber wouldn't be hurt by Obama's policies.

Therefore there is no real example of a 'common' man being hurt by Obama's plan which is the argument that McSame was trying to make.

Post Re: Joe the Plumber

dabateman, you COMPLETELY dodged the issue.
Don't you know that when somebody posts some extremist leftist troll crap they found on somebody else's message board, that you have to turn around and defend it...

I swear.
If it ain't the right (as in Palin / McCain) throwing insults at Obama, ...
... it's the right complaining about insults thrown around on message boards.

I think it's time for me to dig up some of Bhkad's posts in response...

Post Re: Joe the Plumber

I'm with Jon Stewart on this...
Joe the Plumber's House | The Daily Show | Comedy Central

Why are we vetting this guy? The Joe the Plumber guy?
He's already done more interviews than Sarah Palin.

The only REAL thing that needs to come up is that he WILL NOT pay higher taxes under Obama's plan.
The rest is garbage being treated as window dressing.

They tell you that everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame.
What they don't tell you is that 12 of those minutes is a rectal exam.
Sad, but true...

And an off-track comment on this quote...

It's like pulverizing an apple pie, heating it up on a spoon, and injecting it directly into your eye-ball...
