Some of those look really good to me.

When I was a strict veg-head, I followed Harvey and Marilyn Diamond's Fit For Life, and read up on The China Study/T.Colin Campbell, and was a huge fan of John Robbins and followed his advice too.
I wore out a Linda McCartney cookbook. :p

I read Fit for Life, good book.

As promised I'll participate. I lost 8 lbs. That said I was also sick and wasn't eating much so I will probably fluctuate some of that back. Back to the gym tomorrow :).

I just spent four days in Durham NC, the guest of a lovely southern belle who NEVER stopped feeding me and my wife the whole time. At it was all GOOOOOOOOOOOd!

So was the liquor.:thumbsup

I came home five lbs up from normal. It will be a week before my new size 34 jeans will fit again.:rolls

Yep, that's how it starts! Five turns into 10, 10 into 15 and then one day they're bringing in a crane to lift you out of bed. ;)

Tonite will be Broiled, skinless, chicken breast with baked potatoe and broccoli. No sour cream or cheeses.

Go for long walks. But not to the fridge.:D I worked out twice this weekend, and went for a hard hike at 8,000 ft elevation Saturday before I went to the gym. Took yesterday off, back to the gym today. Consistency is the key. I'm trying not to over train, Tree dancer said that might be my problem. I find it hard to NOT work out. it's an addiction.

End of week #3

Still hanging in there but the degree of weight loss has really slowed down. End of week #3 and I weighed in at 219 this AM. So it looks like I'm going to be clunking along at 2 lbs a week now, which is about what the program said I should expect. Got a Christmas party to go to tomorrow so that will toss a wrench into things but it is what it is, right?

"65 calories
Jack Daniel's Black Label Tennessee Whiskey has no carbohydrates (sugar or starch), gluten, fats, or cholesterol, as these are removed in the distilling process. One fluid ounce of Jack Daniel's contains approximately 65 calories.":thumbsup
