In any case, even if you believe that Hillary Clinton should not be "prosecuted" as a "criminal," you must surely concede that her actions were--at the very least--sleazy. And those who utterly despise the existence of sleaze in politics should take this into account...
you forget the investigation initiated by the senate and never closed was her using the wrong server
the rest is just a hatchet to be able to READ all her emails
and possibly find something on her that IS prosecutable
all this looks pretty illegal on the part of the senate committee
comey as stated is just saving his arse from the storm that senate committee has inflicted on the country

Let me think this through:

Comey, a graduate of a prestigious law university with years of both public and private experience. Looking at the available documents.

OR

Salty, an unknown on an internet forum who gets her information from blogs and mainstream media.

One says he got something
The other says he got nuthin.

Which one shall I believe?

Seriously...I want an answer...

HOW do you know they are duplicates?...Be specific...
Once again I can only go by what I read and from what I read the FBI is checking into the emails to see if there's any connection at all to the prior FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails where nothing of real significance was found. I also read that if any emails of relevance are found that they will be checked to see if they're duplicates of the small number of email chains that were found to be problematic. Since none have been reported as "found" that's still speculation but it would make sense to check.

These emails, from what I understand, also go back for years because they've been friends since 1998 if I recall correctly. I'd assume the FBI would simple skip over any that aren't from the time period when Clinton was Sect of State because those emails would have nothing to do with the prior investigation,

Seriously I don't know what the FBI will find but it would have to be something monumental and the odds of that happening are virtually zero. What does suck is so far there's absolutely nothing good or bad to discuss at all and assumptions that there's a "smoking gun" in the emails is nothing more than a fabrication.

I'm just not going to get excited because in the last four years of constant investigation of Hillary Clinton it's turned out that there was never anything to get excited about. IMHO Some people are going "nut-zo" over what turns out to be pretty much nothing in the end.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

Like the Bush Administration's widespread use of the RNC server and managing to "delete" 22 million emails that still haven't been found and turned in to the government?

Clinton's email server wasn't an officially "authorized" State Department server but that wasn't a criminal offense and Clinton was basically just following the prior administration's lead. It wasn't a good idea but there was nothing illegal about it.

If she did, indeed, do something that is "prosecutable" (and I am not saying that she did, or did not), she is certainly not above the law.

Well, I suppose she is above the law.

But she should not be...

Those who lean left declare that it just "wasn't a good idea." And that sounds thoroughly sanitized.

Others might say it was entirely sleazy...

Nonsense, desperation is the only excuse for repeating the falsehood that nothing of significance was found in the previous investigation. Again, Comey unambiguously laid out the proof Hillary Clinton engaged in criminal activity with her email, multiple felonies over a long period of time. He gave as his reason for not recommending charges a supposed lack of intent by Hillary and her staff as show by not giving classified materials to an outside party. If it turns out Anthony Weiner's computer has classified documents from Hillary's server then Comey’s justification for not recommending prosecution is destroyed.

It is highly unlikely the results of the reopened email investigation will be known in time to impact the election. Nonetheless Democrats are terrified the prospect of Hillary having to use her Presidential power of the pardon early in her term tainting her Presidency.

And if she actually pardons herself, it would be viewed by all but the most partisan Democrats as an unredeemingly self-serving act.

Some have suggested that this might be her own Watergate--or even worse than Watergate was for Richard Nixon...
