I wonder how someone with the most liberal record in the senate could ever say that...

You know, I read this and I think you might get the REAL joke Obama was saying ...
But then there is the NEXT comment which obviously doesn't agree...

And I can't help but laugh cause of the source of the person demanding "end to the divisiveness"...
What Obama said WAS THE TRUTH.
It's not a reflection ON OBAMA, but rather a reflection ON THE HOUSE REPUBLICANS.
Obama said, truthfully and completely accurate, that the House Republicans would not change because they talked to Obama.
And somehow, out of that, you think it's Obama who shouldn't be elected cause the HOUSE REPUBLICANS refuse to listen to the Democratic presidential candidate???
The really funny thing is that the same could be said of McCain and the Democrats. No way in hell would either side give the other presidential candidate a speaking point for saying "bipartisan leadership" by getting credit for swaying "the other guy's" vote...
What is really going to hurt out of all this is how McCain and Bush COULD NOT GET THEIR OWN PARTY'S VOTE.
But you, in your own divisive nature, are all ready to blame Obama for something that:
a) exists on both sides of the aisle, and
b) is caused by (in this specific description) the House Republicans refusing to budge for Obama...
