Maybe you can take your kooky conspiracy theories to some site who cares. He is part of the reason, Reagan is part of the reason, every member of congress who knew was part of the reason. The failure of the President and Congress to help create a stable Afghanistan are responsible... blah blah blah blah blah. I know the history. That isn't the point now is it?

The point was and is, if McCain were so set on getting Bin Laden, it would have already happened. The same is true with Bush. If we wanted him, we could have had him. Instead, we have distracted ourselves with Iraq, just like we did the first time around we screwed the pooch on the Afghanistan situation. When you are ready to put down the "everyone's out to get us" juice and start looking at how we've really F*cked ourselves with leaders you have called great, you might begin to make some mental progress.
