I already posted that Governor Scott vs. Charlie Crist was an election where our choices were the lesser of two evils. Scott, however, did, and does have a better resume than Crist did when he was Governor, particularly on jobs creation for Florida. We are doing well here in that respect. As for the actual election, although the final results were close, Crist conceded early in the evening, as Scott's lead never reflected any slump at all. When the Democrats examined the counties left that hadn't reported, and the possibility that Crist would rally to victory, it wasn't in the cards. The counties that came in late were mostly central Florida, Gainesville and Orlando and the Florida West Coast, Republican to the core. Like many states, Illinois comes to mind, so does Pennsylvania, certain parts of the state can override the vote of other parts of the state rural vs. big city.

Florida's East Coast all the way from Jacksonville down to Key West is solid Democratic, while its West Coast, with the exception of Tampa and Lakeland, and its Central region which encompasses Gainesville and Orlando are traditionally Republican as it the Florida Panhandle region.......STFN
whatever

the reason half of Florida was dumb enough to vote for a criminal azzhole is because so many natives have moved away and idiots moved in and who else is left doesn't vote.
