I have trouble seeing "Mr Huckstable" as a sexual predator. And frankly, the game in Hollywood is based on sexual currency. but there are far too many woman coming forward, each on the confidence of another woman's courage.

Or Hutzpah.

We shall see. Often is likely right though. Either way, Cosby is tainted toast. And every supervisor, male of Female is at risk if they are ever alone with the wrong person. Be they male of female.

After all, this is 2014.

Regardless if whether he is guilty or innocent of these charges, if he had not been calling for blacks to take personnel responsibility for their actions, that is, if he had been towing the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson line we wouldn't be hearing about this. The left wing press would totally ignore the whole thing.

That has got to be one of the dumbest talking points out of this entire thing...

And the funny thing about the self-justifying conspiracy theory mentality is that they could likewise claim that Bill Cosby's accusations were given LESS coverage in the past because of his left-wing inclinations...
Bill Cosby Blasts Obama Haters Un-American Behavior

Or hell. Maybe Cosby is left-wing when he agrees with Obama on personal responsibility.

No matter how you cut it, it's some people on the right picking and choosing what they want to focus on and what they want to ignore so they can arrive at whatever politically convenient conclusion they want.

It's my understanding, and I admit that it's anecdotal, that celebrities are more or less constantly being accused of this sort of thing. Mostly, as I understand it, the lack of evidence and the fact that their lawyers "show their fangs," keep the cases from going forward.

Back to my main point though, do you see this case and its accompanying "prosecution in the media" leading to the sort of changes in workplace policy that I posited? If not, why?

I'm not meaning any disrespect at all even though it's going to sound patronizing. Just please accept that it's not my intent.

But most civilized and modern thinkers will not allow a media circus over a hollywood personality and a group of women he allegedly raped become the impetus for taking the corporate structure back to the sixities.

For one thing, hollywood is a world of it's own and should not be taken seriously. For another, letting 40 year old rape allegations fuel policy planning for the future? Who the hell is really going to buy into that logic? Really?

But who's the victim? I say that it's more likely than not to be Mr. Cosby. The idea of a serial rapist, a high-profile black one, concealing a score of barely hidden rapes for 40 years in America strains credulity.
No less credulous than the Catholic chruch hiding dozens of child molesters for 40 years...

Scum bags come in all shapes and sizes....

I don't think so.....

Why, because thinking women just make this stuff up is being intellectually dishonest...

I'm all for Innocent until proven guilty but after 20 women come forward you have to question if this isn't more than just a dash for Cosby cash. It's just not looking good for Mr. Cosby right now.
