BOTH parties should be ashamed of the state of affairs. Ah, but it does not give the REASONING for the bolded...

I don't believe Republican control of Congress would not make the country any better off right now either...

But WHY???????...

My answer?...Because we have a guy named Barack Obama in the office of the president, and the Republicans were voted in to STOP HIM and his policies...That doesn't make the country better...It just prevents the country from getting worse...

How many of that 44% have the same answer?...
Republicans have an opportunity to get Congress working as the most powerful branch of the Federal government after 2 years of party line partisanship followed by 4 years of obstructionism. Forcing Democrats to vote on bills and Obama to sign or veto them will define the Democrat agenda and dispelled Obama's propaganda of a do nothing Congress.

And do you honestly believe that ObamaCare accomplishes that?

Note: Although I do not support the concept of UHC, I would consider it vastly--vastly--preferable to ObamaCare. No comparison.

And I believe that most Republicans--and conservatives, in general--would concur with this sentiment.

Obamacare is designed to fail prompting the call for socialized medicine, UHC. That is why Obama and the Democrats were willing to say anything to get it passed. That is why after some of the major deception used to convince Democrats to vote for it the terms of the debate will not change, it is still the same idiotic "Republicans don't want people to have health insurance" demogogory.

Is that what I said?
But the truth is that if Repubs had to choose inbetween a person having NO health insurance and governmental health insurance, you guys would pick NO health insurance and screw over the rest of the populace with the effects.

It comes down to you guys can SAY you want X, but then your policies and actions actually inhibit X.

MSNBC has declared Obamacare a success? Well that settles it then. Who could doubt an unbiased source like them.

I don't believe Republicans want X or Y or J or K. They object to the destruction of the world's best healthcare system by a hyperpartisan group of Democrat politician zealots with no hesItalian to lie about the ACA to get it passed or continue the dishonesty to keep it in place.

And you declare it a failure.
No bias there either...

Translation: Republicans lack leadership to achieve goals for Americans.
Despite repeated indications that healthcare is ridiculously expensive in this country with pathetic returns that put our national healthcare results on par with third world nations, Repubs want to stop whatever Obama does...

So allow me to change my statement...

Typical leftwing pap saying that citizens are stupid idiots, and need all decisions made for them. In fact they shouldn't even vote because they are too stupid to know that leftwingers are the only hope for humanity.

I think your translation is incorrect. It should read:

Republicans lack leadership to achieve liberal goals for Americans.

I basically agree with what you have said here.

If ObamaCare should fail and be replaced with UHC, it would mark a noticeable improvement, in my opinion.

That is not, however, to say that I support the concept of UHC. I do not. But I consider ObamaCare even worse. Much worse, in fact.
