We were joking the other day that as the economy worsens Target shoppers will go to WalMart and WalMart shoppers will go to KMart. We figured that existing KMart shoppers aren't impacted much by the cost of gas because most of the people who shop at a KMart do so because it's in walking distance .If that theory sounds plausible, buy some stock in Sears Holdings (KMart parent). It should be a bargain these days since they've been on the decline for years. Anyhow, if people want to drive less I think short trips will actually increase while long trips will decline. This would be a good time to be like, a movie theater owner or other local entertainment venue rather than say a regional or national tourism based business. US international tourist destinations might not suffer so much since our dollar is so weak. I can't believe this is what I'm thinking about at nearly midnight on a Saturday. I need to get a life...

I've always had a problem with "underwater"... No...You're IN water...you're UNDER the "sea level" where water and air meet... If you were UNDERwater, you'd be in an area that was dry with ALL of the water above you...not around you...
