LOYALIST:

Since there is no revolution currently in America I'm aware of, I would call myself (under the above guidelines) a loyalist. We the people have chosen a government and it is us.

I'm a loyalist who stands ready to be a patriot.

Threaten my life,liberty or happiness and I will I will stand with other loyal patriots to defend these truths.A loyalist or patriot need not defend every policy of their government.They need only to support their fellow citizan's rights to pursue life, liberty, and happiness as set forth in the constitution.It is my right as a loyalist to at times,disagee with my government and it is also my right as a patriot to oppose "anyone" who wishes to take our rights away.

The truth and the essence of liberty..not unlike the labels of Loyalist and Patriot,is in the "details" of the argument or issue at hand.We take great pains to foster the rights of the "individual" but we are a nation of laws,not a nation of men.When your freedom is threatened and you come to "understand" that threat,be you Patriot or Loyalist..you will know what to do!

By that definition I'd be a patriot. It doesn't really sound right, however. I'm no nationalist, I don't really care for my country. Just for the rights and freedom of its citizens, and every other country's.

I doubt it unless the people become the rulers of the govt. Which won't happen even with the change promised.
The people that feel they were born to lead. The Blue Bloods, control. And it is Machiavellians doing their best to gain for them and deny the rest all but cake..

I an for my country as it should be. Not as it it is. But still feel being an American is better than anything else. So I support the troops and our people. Not all the present govt. does. But I am one voice in the wind being unheard in the roar of the noise of political wind.
So count me as both. I want better for our country, a true democracy that is real. And then maybe support others in their desire to have this in their own countries. But we need to gain world support by change and truth. Stop our double standards where it can be done. Yes we have to have them in some places to deal with the situation at hand. And hope to defuse things to a peaceful situation.
