Crowley acted more as a debate inhibitor than a moderator. It seemed almost every time when the candidates started to actually debate she intervened to move on to the questions she had selected. For example when Romney asked the percentage of oil drilling permits reduction, Crowley rescued a sputtering Obama by changing the subject. Can't let one of her precious questions go unasked. Another example is when Romney worked Fast & Furious into the gun control discussion, Crowley chided him for getting off the subject of disarming the citizenry. The question she chose opened the door but as soon as it veered into the OA's malfeasance it had to be quashed.

I'm still puzzled by Obama's terrorist puppet show. Romney -- two thumbs up, Obama -- a tricycle.

She bailed your boy out more than once. Just like with the Libya question. Just the way you say

"Another example is when Romney worked Fast & Furious into the gun control discussion"

This shows me you were upset that Romney wasn't able to play out a rightwing talking point. Most of us find this F&F stuff tired and pointless. It's not relevant to anything about assault weapons or gun control. F&F was not about gun control or assault weapon sales. It was supposed to be about gun smuggling it appears and it was not run by Obama. So not really on the subject. Simply a rightwing gotcha hope. They say that the right was really hoping to nail Obama on Benghazi and instead it backfired as well it should have. It was another cheap attempt at using a tragedy to score political points

I agree....

Where is the poutrage from right wingers that were upset that Biden was rude and disrespectful to Paul Ryan.....?

I just watched Reince Priebus talking to Chuck Todd. He says he is looking forward to the next debate about foriegn policy because then they will be able to find out when Obama knew about Libya and when he knew it.

Oh Great Fuquing moron

The word "poutrage" sounds like it was made up by a basement child who hasn't had a glimpse at the opposite sex yet. But if it makes anybody happy, I say grown-ups should act like grown-ups. Both clowns were guilty in the debate, but the moderator takes the cake, and she certainly looks like she did, the whole cake!

I changed the channel after about the 3rd or 4th question when NEITHER candidate would answer a question without a 1:30 campaign speech leading up to a half-assed excuse for an answer. I want a format where if a candidate is asked a question and they start "speechifying", a big buzzer sounds and they are informed that they just lost 30 seconds of their allotted time. When you are asked a direct question, give a direct answer. Don't spend half your time attacking your opponent or talking about stories of people you've met - ANSWER THE QUESTION. I have gotten so stinking tired of politicians running this country and over the last 20 years things have gotten so much worse, that I'm starting to think that if you get elected to a Fed. office, you get two terms and then get shipped off to live in Greenland for the rest of your life. Lets get rid of the idiots who are perpetuating this crap and get back to citizens leading this country, instead of politicians.

Petulant is a word I heard someone use about Romney's performance and that hit the nail with me.

Two dead border patrol agents and hundreds of dead Mexicans is a right wing talking point. Yeah right. Naturally Candy sweet on Obama, couldn't allow the discussion to go there. That might have made Obama uncomfortable answering questions about stonewalling the investigation, can't have that.

Interesting how the OA uses the same excuse for F&F and Bengazhi, we didn't know. Vote for 4 more years of deliberate ignorance and incompetence with Obama. Not likely.
