If you're watching shite like that and wondering if you should be offended or not based on the fact that your particular religion may or may not have been slighted I'm thinking even Jesus would smack you in the face. Course it's late and I've had too much wine. But really.

Though on the upside my husband and I were talking about how when they use to show the little African children they had swollen bellies and flies crawling on their faces. So in that respect, things seem better. But still give the little shites money.

But, Redd, SOME people, SOME segment of the population, will be offended by ANYTHING done or said by ANYONE.

This is just a fact of life.
I get offended by things too, sometimes.

It just seems that SOME people go out of their looking for things to be offended by.
And I would include a certain small but vocal segment of the Christian population in that.

But the question is determining WHICH offenses are legitimate and which ones are playing victim...

And in some eyes, NOTHING can be construed as offensive to Christians...

Oh, I am definitely not some of those eyes. My wife and grew up in very Catholic households, and though I no longer term myself a Christian, my wife does. It's an important part of her life, and I have great respect for her choice.

I ran this issue past her tonight, and she just rolled her eyes at me.
So, I do believe this falls into that latter category, playing victim.
