Modern Liberal
A person who believes that a farm-produced apple in the hand may be infinitely multiplied by dint of vigorous protests, wailing, demands, expressions of outrage, and vicious condemnation of the farm, farmer, tree, and soil which produced the apple, and who also generally believes that the apple was in some mysterious manner originally stolen from its consumer by its producer.

Don't forget, all it would take is for the government to make a law that everyone can have all the apples they want for free and they will magically appear.

And then their EPA decides the tree is putting out to much CO2 and the fertilizer the farmer is using on the tree is polluting the ground water, so they insist that the farmer chop down the tree.

Then Bloomburg decides what apples are left are too large and nobody needs that much so he outlaws all apples except crab apples.
