The man committed suicide after a lengthy debacle on which he was wrongly on the losing side. The couple has canceled checks WELLS FARGO CHECKS.
They did something wrong. If they hadnt and had the money like she says they could have purchased a motor home that ran. A lawyer can use cancelled checks to stop a foreclosure. That didn't happen. You're looking for something to pin on the bank and they may have a mistake or two but it doesn't equal suicide. It's f*cking hard to evict someone there's a reason they got to that point.

Why do you automatically assume it's the home owner's fault?
Do you not see the crappy practices going on every day with large banks?

He was probably predisposed to this type of action.

The thing that sucks about these kind of stories is that the banks have thier hands tied when it comes to responding to these kind of allegations. They have confidentiality agreements that prevent them from revealing information that could refute these kind of claims. This doesn't mean that they are snowy white, it just means that you only get ONE side of the story. For all we know, this is a completely fabricated story and the real story is substantially different, but the bank is not allowed to publically reveal facts that could refute this story.

I can only post the lawsuit brought by the couple and the article relating Wells Fargo's complicity in screwing with interest rates. Even after all that the couple claim to have paid every payment on time and in person, mostly with a Wells Fargo cashier's check.
With all the trouble people have been having with Wells Fargo like raising interest rates on credit cards even while clients make timely payments, and the websites devoted to "how wells fargo screwed me" I tend to believe the couple.

Don't forget these people put down 30% and not everyone was a bad risk who lost their home in this mortgage crises. Some merely lost the jobs that paid for the home. I know the Micron plant closing in Idaho put a lot of homes on the market.

Oh I read it. But here's a little inside the game info, everybody claims to have never missed or only missed one payment. It's like everyone in prison claiming innocense. You're hearing one side and as was mentioned the bank can't release the records to refute anything until trial. If no trial comes you will know you were fed a BS story.

Screw ups happen and if true, this sounds like a major screw up on the part of Wells Fargo.

But they had no hand in the man's suicide. That's ALL on him. His choice, his action.

..and the ONLY thing supporting those allegations is the testimony of the people. For all you know, they're completely FOS, but the bank can't refute those accusation outside of a courtroom without violating confidentiality laws. You're gettingone side of the story and acting as if it's 100% true when you have no way of knowing whether or not it is. Your articles abotu Wells are meaningless to this story since there's NO proof that this had anything to do with this story. It's just your usual method of bringing together different stories and assuming that they are connected because they both had the word "and" in them and making them connect makes your story sound better.

If the woman has any strength left (if these allegations are true) I hope she initiates a civil suit. I do think Wells Fargo is responsible for the man's death.
Watch the video. The wife is very credible.
