Being a better, faster worker doesn't require rocket surgery degrees. Some people are just better and faster.

Being better at your job always gets you more money. WTF do you want equal pay for everyone? I think there's a saying about that "From those according to ability to those according to need". Yeah there's a political philosophy that goes with it. Know which one that is?

Projecting much?

My only point is to clarify why farmers find it difficult to impossible to hire local workers. They are not going to work for $25 dollars a day.

You seem overly concerned someone may only make 25 a day. They may do that for a day or two but will get their ass in gear sooner or later. If not then too bad.

People generally improve the more they work at their job.Start them on a hourly wage to entice them to go work at the farm everyday and once they get better give them option of being paid by the bushel.This will entice people to work at farms and keep them there.

You'v never worked on a farm, have you?

By the time a green worker's skills come up to par, harvest season is going to be over.
