Ok, Obama announced that that his new campaign slogan is "Forward". Not as catchy as "Hope and Change" but not bad. Except it seems somebody fell asleep at the research switch considering the words ties to communism, socialism, marxism, etc.
It was pretty easy to chaulk that up to coincidence, until you add this. The Obama campaign announced that it would officialy kick off on May 5th. Cool, Cinco de Mayo, sounds good, lord knows alcohol helps swallow his message. Except its also Karl Marx birthday.
The coincidences are getting a little thick at this point. So what does everyone else think? Are these just coincidence? Staff incompetence? Closet Marxist?

None of the above.

Chalk it up to slow news day and cherry-picking rightwingers desperate for something else to pin on Obama. (personally - I'd never heard of "Forward" being heavily associated with coummunism before this)

Considering the same Obama staff came up with the title of a Newt Gingrich book for his previous theme, my vote is staff incompetence. However there is plenty of evidence of Obama's fascist/marxist agenda but he is not going to deliberately come out of the closet this close to an election we will have to wait for the second term if there is one for that.

I don't care if "Forward" is Robin Hood's slogan, or if Karl Marx's birthday is on Easter Sunday. I believe the incompetent-in-chief-is a socialist with communist ambitions. Prunes, anyone?

"Forward" is also the state of Wisconsin's motto, and (shock!) Gov. Scott Walker's campaign slogan.

Kind of sounds like the Right is up to it's usual tricks in trying to portray Obama as Marxist/Communist/Socialist despite a lack of any actual facts to support those claims.
