I think he would oppose it "in his day"...a day when vast oceans needed to be crossed and we often knew the enemy was on his way months in advance. Today..the enemy is often "within" our borders,he's a citizen and may be our next door neighbor and we have tools available to detect those who wish to do us harm. Would today's TJ use those tools?..I have no way of knowing for sure,the dynamics have changed along with the awesome destructiveness of nuclear and biological weaponry. I believe TJ would have the mental capacity to understand today's situation and thus make a logical decision to utilize the same tools that the enemy uses for he among all men knew that knowledge is power. We must defend against all enemies,foreign and
domestic,I believe he could grasp that fact when others fail to grasp this reality.
BTW..I'm not known for "dodging" questions and I resent the implication that I would do so..
