Really now. What cases has he responded to without race being involved? The closest I can come up with is the shooting in Tucson but that was pretty big he didn't really have a choice, even if no black people were involved.

The massacre in Afghanistan was the most recent before this one, Rush Limbaugh's asshattery was another news story that also prompted a response. No crime of course, but yet another situation that had nothing to do with race.

The President's remarks on the Zimmerman/Martin case were much closer to that of a father than some radical racial rabblerouser, so that really doesn't count either, unless you need to make up a reason to dislike the guy.
