Ok, since it was the first offer and the contract just expired I'd expect them to reject it and kinda let them know why and what specifics were problems......
The company will come back with something else and it goes back and forth for a while until they can agree on a final package......
Not a bad contract in todays market from my vantage point but, if you have older long term union members that are not with the times and not willing to help the company if they are losing money then this could be a long drawn out deal......
Hope both sides can come to an agreement that they can shake hands with and still get along.......

ah but they haven't had a rejected contract & lockout since the 1970s so this is something new for the majority of these guys.
company not losing money but also not making record profits either.
i guess tuesday is supposed to start new talks...some stuff appears to be changing...i guess the company spokesman threw out the idea of profit sharing in the media that was not in the contract so the company at least appears willing to negotiate.
$9.83 a week for insurance sure sounds great (a lot better than $200 a month)
