I think that's about $50/hr. I wonder why Mikeyy is posting crap stating it's $!5.....

What's his job?? Is he a janitor?? How about a mailroom clerk?? Maybe he spends his days opening the front door and saying "Welcome to Apple." Maybe he's an idiot and was given the job as a favor to his dad, but was told that he's only to get $15/hr. CONTEXT IS CRITICAL!!!!

BTW - You need more than one data point to calculate an everage.

What's his skillset?? What's experience?? Was he laid off from his old job because he was the bottom-feeder?? He gets paid based on his abilities, not his situation. That's something any moron would know.

I don't give a **** how old he is he's doing a kids job and will be paid as such. Whatever his reason for taking the job doesn't mean jack squat as to what the compensation she should be. The job is worth 15 bucks an hour, take the work or don't.

...and Apple has such a high demand for carpenters that they really should be paying them $50/hr??? Is that the issue here?? He's not getting paid what he should??? Mikeyy, I'm a pretty good programmer and a damn hard worker, but if I went into the retail field, I'd be starting at the bottom, in spite of my skillset. If the skillset doesn't tranfer into a value for my employer, it doesn't mean jack.

BTW - I live at ground zero for the housing industry collapse and good carpenters are still working, there's just whole lot less of them.
