Irrespective of color all politicians share a kinship that is unique - they are puffed up with a sense of their own importance - they are dogmatic and cant understand why no one agrees with them - they are prostitutes selling their ideals to raise a few bucks - they have an appetite for power that transcends their intellectual capacity - they have a casual approach to lying - justification being i am special . They are super salespeople , telling you they have all the answers and their product is safe tried and tested .

But are they prone to sweeping generalizations that fail to distinguish between people in any way, shape or form?

Politicians are born of the population...If you find them corrupt, then take a look at where they come from...

Exactly..they are a reflection of society in general.
