Too many conservatives threw her under a bus like they did here because you didn't like her, Mr. Centrist - with capitial letters. Sarah Palin is an American success story and liberals like you are terrorfied of her because of the effect she'd have on popular culture and young people which is one big reason why you keep calling her stupid and inferior to yourself. The mantra of American womanhood belongs to a liberal feminist and a liberal feminist will be the first woman president. Not. |

It's a sad commentary isn't it?

Why is it a "sad commentary" that people who've worked hard don't have to live in misery because the country they live in allows them to pay into a system that eases their retirement years? Why do you and others try to make seniors feel guilty for being seniors?
It's not their fault that instead of raising taxes for a war, Bush robbed the nest egg. Now we're having to borrow money to cover his mistakes (actually they were just the culmination of GOP leadership) and still argue about whether or not to raise taxes with wars on three fronts now?? ![]() If you took every dime from every senior it couldn't possibly sustain the tax cuts, wars, and corporate give-aways. So because Sarah Palin says "suck it up!" and Kathy Castor says, "I'm here to protect seniors." you think your gal is the cat's meow and Kathy girl just doesn't get it. Well Kathy does get it. She works hard for her constituents in the face of radical propagandizing by gold diggers like Sarah who need to go down to Tampa Florida and surrounding retirement communities and try to ply her generic pep-rally speeches. I have a strong feeling the seniors there would tell her just exactly how the caribou ate the hay!
