All of them?...

Go talk with the victims of Sharpton & Tawanna Brawley...

They may disagree with you...
How does this negate the need for a balanced veiw?

You are assuming (I think) that speaking up means supporting the loud veiw. No so. Saying 'this is not an issue' is equally important.

I don't know all of the details of the Brawley case, and I din't have time to research it right now, but same thing.

I hate to say something that can be taken as cruel, but the sooner Sharpton is erased from the public eye, the sooner America can move forward resolving the real issues of race in this country.
I think that he is there because he believes in the cause he supports. Buly for him.

It does not mean that everyone supports him.

Sharpton is a shameless self-promoter,a mind is a terrible thing to waste. He is bright and he can be an incredibly tough opponent but he does more harm than good...

In Iowa the other day, a populous with 90% white people, gave a majority vote
in the democratic caucus to Barak Obama.
My point is, do we now need to ask ourselves if race is an issue anymore in this country. Except to those who try to make it an issue for money or popularity.

In certain situations race is still an issue. It isn't as bad as it was in the past, but the problem still exists. At this point, the problems are more societal/social than legal. That is a big improvement.

Thus my belief that more people should speak up to balance out his views.

The reality is that most people are busy running their lives and making a living, so people like Sharpton and Coulter get to make careers out of being professional loudmouths.

Yeah...what does Sharpton actually do anyway? Perhaps he wouldn't be so outraged all the time if he actually had a damned job.
