This is Clarence Thomas. I little doubt that he's thoroughly read through and become familiar with the written arguments and briefs long before Sotomayor has finished explaining to the security people at the entrance who she is.

As opposed to the cases Elena Kagan is supposed to judge...someone whose only credentials are advocacy...no judicial experience whatsoever?

What is the "curiosity" of cases you are supposed to judge when all you have done is advocacy?

No, her entire career in litigation was spent in the Obama and Clinton Justice Departments.

She hung out with ideologues for eight years.
