OLD country...

What's considered "country" today is so sanitized and boxed...

I like texas swing better anyway. Country is the new pop. Old country is cool Hank Williams, Willie, Freddie fender, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.

I like Bob Wills music. My brother-in-law (who's 86) used to play with a lot of the old guys back in the day. He still plays music at senior centers and Veterans halls occasionally.

My husband and his closest in age sister used to go to Majestic Theater and Panther Hall in Ft Worth to see Hank Williams (cost five bucks), Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Horton (3.50).
