My best (or worst) experience with Mormons came several years ago. I was at home with my 2 year old daughter who was sick and my wife was at work. I went out to get the mail and my daughter locked the screen door behind me. I had no key, but had my phone. I tried to get her to unlock the door, but she couldn't and started crying. I was trying to decide what to do, when 2 Mormons walked up my sidewalk and wanted to talk to me about their beliefs. I told them it wasn't the best time. They then asked when would be a good time! I wanted to say a few choice words, but held my tongue. Luckily I went back to work the next day, so I don't know if they came back.
I guess my problem with 'spreading the word", is the way some groups do it. All they do is piss people off.

You missed your chance, MM. Those young Mormon missionaries that stroll around your neighborhood will do WORK for you if you ask them. I was cleaningout the backyard one day when a couple of "Elders" stopped by to talk. I told them I was kinda busy and they asked if I needed help. "Sure thing." They hopped on thier bikes to go home and change clothes and were back in 15 minutes and busted their butts chopping the Aspen tree roots from my neighbors tree out of my yard. Then, when we were done and I had fed them lunch, I prayed for them and sent 'em on thier way (they refused any payment).
