I skipped the ham and went with my prize-winning chicken noodle soup...and it JUST got done...

...AND there's enough for the next three days...

I'm stuffed to the gills with the traditional fare.

Turkey and dressing (of course)
Cranberry sauce
Pilau (pronounced "perlo", it's a traditional dish of our ancestory. has rice,
veggies and meat)
homemade rolls
homemade bread
strawberry banana cheesecake
Oreo pie
Yam pie
chocolate cake
deviled eggs
potato salad
bbq'd baked beans with strips of bacon on top
cheese flavored mashed potatoes with chives/gravy
Mexicali corn bread
various relish dishes
iced tea
home made egg nog
coffee
beer
wine
sweet potato soufflé
real baked macaroni and cheese with a sharp and a mild cheese
tons of peanut butter, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies.

*How 'bout them Boys! ( 34-3 win against the stinky Jets made them 10-1)

*Our fearless leader won't be home until today sometime. When he gets stuffed and rested we'll put up the tree.
Life is good.

It was. My son and his friend helped with the cooking, and believe it or not we didn't get in each others way! Everything turned out pretty well. Plus we all like T. V. sports. Everybody but my grandson (of course) fell asleep during a movie, though.

I passed out, too...

I had two HUGE bowls of homemade chicken noodle soup...went to lay down to watch some TV and that was the end of me...passed out from around 10PM to 2:40AM...

I hope to get a couple of hours nap today for the Flyers game at 1PM...
