In some respects. I'll admit he's a gaff machine. Hell, I've said he's one, but he connects to that group that Obama hasn't made much traction in. Biden connects well with lower income, hard working individuals who want straight talk. Something they are no longer getting from McCain (who btw is his own cosmic gaff wheel).
