Hell no to Birkenstocks? You should try a pair for a month! You'd most likely change your tune. They are not wooden dutch sabots! They are German with a 200 year history of cork footbeds that molds to a person's specific foot and as much as forms a custom orthotic. I own absolutely no stock in the company whatsoever as far as I can tell. I just buy them because they make my feet happy.
