This could be as much fun as KROB KROB KROB.
Are you now going to offend dyslexics by poking fun at them? You are a hypocrite....

You are now on ignore.

Use this thread to explain to everyone what yours means...

Mine is actually a lot more detailed than one might think...

When I was little, I was fascinated by knights, and spent a lot of time charging around playing the part of the Rescuer/Protector. When I was a bit older, the nickname 'knight' stuck to me for a while because of my strict personal ethics.

Sappho, for those who don't know, was a poet and teacher that lived on the Greek island of Lesbos. Her surviving works show that she was inclined toward romantic relationships with women. (Thus the origin of the words Sapphic and lesbian, as a note...)

KnightofSappho denotes my Sapphic orientation, my love of literature, and my philosophical understanding of the concept of balance in all things. (The blended masculine/feminine imagery in the name.)

So there you have it... A little peek into my inner workings.

Thank You!...

Your name was puzzling me the most, but I promised I wouldn't look it up...

I am a product of 1980s pop culture & Gordon Shumway seemed better than ALF. I like two part names; especially fictional characters that sound like they could be someone's real name. I've used several over the years but have stayed with this one the longest. You may have seen me at other forums by the name of Arthur Fonzarelli, Carpe Diem & Carte Blanche. I've also used the name of the greatest guitar player ever before --- Randy Rhoads. And, I've used my nickname or a variation of it --- Axeman or AxemanRGM (RGM = Rock God Musician). Now, on my blog at my local newspaper website I use my real name; which I've used on forums before as well.

As for a porno name...

Rip Hyman
Buck Naked
Peter Goezinya

Thank you. Considering you took a thread that someone had just mentioned made people seem more human and started throwing "tihs". If my participation effects you in such a negative way, that's a good bet.

As far as making fun of dyslexics...naa, I was just making fun of you.

saltwn has been my handle for awhile. It is tied to my ancestory
(Minorcan). There was an old old legend among our people that we were originally black and were at sea for so long that the sun bleached us out! The nickname some older Minorcans in Florida used to call themselves was : salt water n____r (hint: it's not negro).

In reality, Menorca was settled by Celtic and African people. but over the centuries has been the home and nation of various peoples and cultures.
So, now you know.
