I cannot speak with any authority on the topic as I've never been to Europe or Australia so I cannot comment on their social standards.

If I were forced to guess I would say that it could be considered inappropriate material. I would even say in most countries that it would be considered adult material based upon my limited understanding. The justification for this analysis is the nuances. Every European commercial that I've seen, every general audience show, push the limits, but have not shown nudity. But then again, as I've stated, I have insufficient knowledge from which to draw. I can only speak in reference to American cultural standards are those are the ones I've been exposed to.

No. The area exposed is different and situational context plays a HUGE part of this picture.

This site IS NOT Europe or Australia...So that argument doesn't wash.

I've also seen the picture that was deleted, thanks to you sending it to me...And it was pornography period...Humorous porn, but porn none-the-less...

This site has specific rules about such materials. Doesn't matter if you agree with that rule or not, but that is the rule.

And although the members here are adults, the site is viewable by ALL persons using the internet...That include CHILDREN being able to access the site.

Most hosts that offer web-space for internet useages for putting up sites like this, have a 'no pornography or sexual content' rule. That means that all people intending to use their host to put up sites, also have to adhere to that rule on their own sites...

Again...You may disagree with it, but that's the rules. Follow the rules or suffer the conseqences...In this case, the offensive/against TOS materials are removed.

Rather then gripe about it, throw in what other countries consider 'inappropriate', or play 'picture comparision'? Just follow the rules that you read and agreed to when joining the site in the first place. Easy enough.

And you want to share such pics in the future? Share them on sites that don't have such rules.

Oh...and don't send me pictures like that again...Sorry to inform you, but I'm not into porn nor do I like having it sent to me via my pm's or e-mails.

Thats my point exactly. Its a matter of context. If the pic I posted was sexual in nature I would agree. A pediphile would find the coppertone ad sexual. I see it as humorous. I saw the pic af the woman taking a picture humorous not sexual. As did most of the folks who saw it. So perception effects your opinion of the material.
So if you actually don't see any physical parts explecite. And if the context is humor not sex is it really adult material.

Well those aren't the questions you ask. Here are the questions you ask.

1) Will the owner of the forum find the picture to be inappropriate?

2) Will the moderators of the form find the picture to be inappropriate?

3) Will the company hosting the forum find the picture inappropriate?

4) Will the posters of the forum find the picture to be inappropriate.

If your answer is yes or maybe to any of these questions then you simply don't post it.

I didn't really care about reposting the pic. I would have forgot about it anyway. I just thought we could debate what is sexual and what is nudity. But if I am just pissing everyone off I give up. I didn't mean to send you porn, Geeez its all yours.

We are debating. And I have you a reasonable measure to determine appropriate nature.

Well I guess I'm some sort of pervert now. wow

This is too weird. I am not one for posting a bunch of nude pics but now I'm asked to go to such sites. No thanks. But I will leave this one so I don't continue to hurt some peoples morality.

The question of "what's sexual" or "what's not sexual" is irrelevant...

The question is "Is the photo, no matter what it's showing...innappropriate?"...

That is up to the discretion of the Moderators...If they were unsure themselves, they could even ask other Mods for thier opinion (though not required)...

Spencer took it upon himself to make a decision, and I stand by it...

I DID find the photo innapropriate, but to be honest, even if I didn't, I'd still stand by him...

I didn't create Moderators so they can be "cnredd" clones...The 3 we have now were added because I know their mindset, discretion, and judgement...It doesn't have to be the exact same as mine, but it does have to be fair...

And in this case, irrelevant of what I thought about the photo, Spence did the fair thing...

This is a molehill...Let's not make it a mountain...
