Default Mark Dice and Memorial Day

Mark Dice is a prankster who likes to ask Americans questions--questions which any third-grader (or even younger person) should know--and in 2013 he asked Southern Californians about the meaning of Memorial Day. He even suggested that it is intended to memorialize all the legendary surfers who had passed away; that it is intended to memorialize the Holocaust; and (alternatively) that it is intended to memorialize Adolf Hitler.

Presumably, because he is so dry--and he has such a stoic demeanor--he can get by with it.

Amazingly, one Dutch citizen that he interviewed knew exactly what it is all about--yet very few native-born Americans did.
