Hermaphrodite; refers to an animal ( including humans) that has genitalia of both sexes. In some species they can be male or female. In some they can self fertilize.
Although Ii have no found no cases with mammals, especially human ones

Intersexual often includes them in its' definition.
I've seen nothing stating an exclusion.

You interpret the meanings differently?
