Dry and robust flavor. Slightly saltly along the rine, probably washed in aging with a salt water brine. Excellent in Lobster macaroni and cheese, with cheddar and Jack cheese with it.

Regards, Kirk
That's one of the things I miss about living in Germany was the trips to the Netherlands to buy gouda. We found a farm outside Leiden that has been making cheese for many generations and bought it right at the source.

I'm thinking I'll do lobster tonight and get some culls with one claw. They are so much cheaper and you can eat three - four of them for the price of a lob with two claws. I wish I could take a dozen back to WA for lob mac and cheese.

Last night we went to the best pizza place on MV and I got the pep/sausage and Genoa salami with extra cheese. It was a good thing we decided to go there as it was the last night of the season for them. Afterwards we went to Back Door Donuts and got apple fritters and bacon covered maple donuts. I guess it's a tradition to get donuts late night in Oak bluffs.

I had nursing home food today.
Chili and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Not bad, I say!

I was down the river for the Eagles today, and the grill had no burgers or hot dogs...

We had a beer-can chicken (Used Dr.Pepper instead), and a ton of pork wrapped in bacon...that was a friggin' dream...

One of the guys loves to cook...Next week, he said he's bringing his smoker and setting up a 8AM...

Last night was whole wheat spaghetti in butter sauce and herbs, with steamed brussels sprouts.

Tonight I got a chicken, bacon and ranch pizza from my friend Hutch's place here in town.
The small one.
He recently opened another place right near the Neil Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta.
