I don't know what's worse - the police arresting a woman for not returning a movie nine years ago or the world finding out you actually watched Monster-In-Law.

A Woman Actually Spent a Night In Jail For Failing to Return a Movie She Rented 9 Years Ago | TheBlaze.com

A South Carolina woman was arrested this week and spent a night in jail for failing to return a movie she rented in 2005.

Kayla Michelle Finley, 27, rented “Monster-In-Law” nine years ago and failed to return it to the now out-of-business Dalton Videos in Pickens County, according to WHNS-TV.

Now, she reportedly faces a misdemeanor for failure to return the video cassette. Finley was arrested Thursday after a warrant was found for her arrest when she went to the sheriff’s office to report another crime, WYFF-TV reported.

According to the warrant, the 27-year-old was sent letters to return the video, but never responded.

She adamantly denies those charges and directed a scathing message toward the sheriff’s department.

“It’s obvious that Pickens County has nothing better to do. I fully intend on fighting this, it’s ridiculous that I had this happen to me,” she told WHNS-TV.

Sorta shocking these mega churches bank over half a mil in two days.

Churches makin' that kinda cash never sat well with me. Pastors shouldn't be livin' in multi-million dollar mansions and churches shouldn't look like some palace. Would rather see these churches be more reasonable and smart with the money they make.

Don't like religion being used as a business and a springboard to become filthy rich. Not the spirit of the message of the Lord.

Joel Osteen?s church robbed of $600G in cash, checks | Fox News

Televangelist Joel Osteen's church in Houston announced Monday that $600,000 in Sunday donations were stolen from its safe last weekend, MyFoxHouston.com reported.

The heist at Lakewood Church wasn't discovered until 8:30 a.m. Monday morning when a church employee and off-duty Harris County Sheriff's Officer noticed the break in, the report said. Investigators believe the theft occurred sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

The donations were from services on March 8 and March 9 and included cash, checks and credit cards. Lakewood has asked anyone who attended services this weekend to pay attention to their accounts and report any suspicious activity.

"The funds were fully insured, and we are working with our insurance company to restore the stolen funds to the church," the Lakewood statement said, according to The Houston Chronicle.

Lakewood stresses this was not a data breach, but says the theft was limited to donations made in the actual services.

More than 40,000 people attend weekly services led by Osteen, whose televised sermons reach nearly 100 countries.

'Burger King Baby' Katheryn Deprill reunites with mom after 27 years | Fox News

'Burger King baby' Katheryn Deprill's search for mom draws Facebook frenzy | Fox News

When Katheryn Deprill was just hours old, her mother left her on the bathroom floor of an Allentown, Pa. Burger King.

The year was 1986, and Deprill was quickly discovered by patrons and workers at the fast food joint. She would be raised by her adoptive parents, grow up to become an EMT, get married and one day have three children of her own.

All while never knowing her biological mother’s identity.

“Unless you’re adopted, you’re not going to understand that piece of you that feels like it’s missing if you don’t know who your parents are,” Deprill, now 27, told FoxNews.com on Monday.

Bothered by doctors’ questions about her family’s medical history, Deprill earlier this month decided to seek out her mother, posting a photo on Facebook of herself holding a sign asking for help.

“Looking for my birth mother. She gave birth to me September 15th 1986. She abandoned me in the Burger King bathroom only hours old, Allentown PA,” the note says. “Please help me find her by sharing my post. Maybe she will see this. Thank you.”

A little over one week later and nearly 27,000 people have shared her story – but still no sign from the mystery mom.

Deprill learned about her abandonment as a 12-year-old, when her sixth-grade teacher assigned the class to a project focusing on the students' family backgrounds. Deprill came home and demanded answers from her adoptive parents, Brenda and Carl Hollis. They slid a scrapbook in front of her that held newspaper clippings from 1986.

The articles explained how a Burger King patron had heard a baby's cries and discovered Katheryn on the bathroom floor. How a restaurant worker then called police. How police were trying to track down the mother.

At first, the preteen thought there was something about her that had pushed her mother to abandon her. But as she grew older, she began to not only sympathize with her biological mom, but become grateful that she never used drugs or alcohol during her pregnancy, allowing Deprill to grow up healthy.

“I can’t imagine what she had to go through,” Deprill said. “She could have been in a very abusive relationship. There are so many things that could have been, and you don’t know until you walk a mile in her shoes.”

Deprill insists that no legal action can be taken against her biological mother, and adds that her cause has spurred other people to look for their birth parents as well. And she says her story serves as a reminder for parents who are unable to raise their children.

“There’s always an option to just not leave your baby,” she says. “Adoption is just a wonderful thing.”

So cool.

Awesome moment: ‘This was the day I met my son?s heart recipient’ | TheBlaze.com

At TheBlaze, we’re fortunate to have a truly extraordinary audience. A little while ago, we asked you to send us the best moment of your life captured in a photo. What came in blew us away. We started a Facebook page to share these amazing stories and photos with you. To view them, visit The Blaze Best Moments Facebook page: Facebook.com/TheBlazeMoments.

Below, you can see one such moment. It comes from Susan Puckett:

This was the day I met my son’s heart recipient. My son, Thomas, died as a result of a traumatic head injury in August, 2008. He was just a few days away from turning 18. He had made the decision to be an organ donor when he got his driver’s license. We honored his wishes upon his death. Several months later, I wrote to all of his recipients and prayed that we would get a response. In the spring of 2011, I received the letter I had been praying for – from Derrick, my son’s heart recipient. With further correspondence, he was ready to meet us. That was in June of 2011. It was such a blessing to meet this wonderful, young man, who we now refer to as our heart son.

If you have a photo you’d like to share with us, send it to BestMoments@theblaze.com. We may share your photos with TheBlaze and Glenn Beck audiences and across all of our platforms including TheBlaze.com, GlennBeck.com, Facebook and Twitter.

Throughout this page, you will find our mission statement embodied in miraculous stories of love, hope, sacrifice and honor. That statement is, “We tell stories of love and courage where the good guys win.”

We’re so grateful to be able to share these sacred moments to help uplift, inspire or empower others. Thank you for being so generous with your precious memories.

they are the closest thing we have to a royal family this century in the United States.
Words cannot describe how f*cking insane some people are.

Dr. Manny: With Chelsea Clinton?s pregnancy, we prepare for another royal baby | Fox News

It seems like just yesterday I was giving unsolicited pregnancy advice to Kate Middleton – and look how well things turned out for her, delivering beautiful, healthy Prince George.

I also gave a little piece of my mind to Snooki, in the heyday of her pregnancy, and I’m glad she listened to me – because again, look how great things are turning out for her, as she prepares to welcome her second child.

Now, of course, it is time for me to give some medical advice to Chelsea Clinton.

First and foremost, congrats! I have always had a great admiration for the Clinton family; to me, they are the closest thing we have to a royal family this century in the United States. Chelsea Clinton is now reportedly in her second trimester– an important time in any woman’s pregnancy. This is a time when the fetus is gaining weight, and of course all of the baby’s organs are beginning to develop and progress towards functioning at full capacity.

Several things need to be kept in mind during the second trimester. First, mothers should watch their weight, which can be done by maintaining a balanced diet, filled with complex carbs, lean proteins, vegetables and some healthy oils. While Chelsea Clinton was a vegetarian for many years, reports indicate that the 34-year-old started eating meat again in her late 20s. However, a vegetarian diet, if done properly, is perfectly healthy for a pregnant woman and provides plenty of plant proteins and vitamins that are incredibly healthy for the baby.

The other important factor for pregnant women in their second trimester is to make sure they maintain normal blood pressure levels. Monitoring salt intake is important not only for healthy blood pressure, but also to avoid excessive swelling. And certainly, getting good sleep and rest is essential. Public figures, like Chelsea, may have a tougher time getting those zzz’s, so it might be beneficial to her to amend her busy schedule.

It will also be crucial for Chelsea to avoid negative stress during her pregnancy. Now that her mother might be running for president, it’s likely that Chelsea will read and hear many unflattering stories about Hillary Clinton. I encourage her not to pay attention. Negative stress can literally make you sick, in addition to increasing pregnancy anxiety and post-partum depression.

During the second trimester, patients should also be aware of the signs of symptoms of premature labor. While we don’t know much about the mechanisms behind premature labor, we do know a lot about the symptoms. They include back pain, frequent contractions that tend to cover the entire girth of the abdomen, atypical vaginal discharge and pelvic pressure. These symptoms should not be ignored and should be checked out by an obstetrician as soon as possible.

Finally, I will say that I’m very happy for this couple; there’s nothing like bringing a new life into the world. For Hillary and Bill Clinton, there will be nothing more gratifying than to see that their legacy carried on by future generations. I hope that we give this couple the privacy that they deserve, while at the same time, sending them all our love and good thoughts.
