This is a very interesting site. You can compare your city's cost of living, property prices, crime, health care and pollution with other cities and indeed with any city worldwide.

I did the Detroit area, and some of the prices they have were way of the mark. I just bought a little over a pound of skinless, boneless chicken breats for $4.50, they had it at $7.50. There were a few other prices that were out of line also.

Depending on where you shop makes a difference as well. If you go to a Sam's Club, or Costco's it is cheap. However, if you go to a meat market or small specialty store things are quite high.

Housing is also varies from city to suburb. The house I recently moved from after living there for 32 years sold not long ago for less than $15K. When I bought it I paid $25K. and sold it at a loss. But, come to the suburb where I live housing still is quite high. Some people have lost value on their homes, but the prices are rising again.

I did not compare to another city though, I kinda like it here in Michigan.

Except for fuel it seems to be in the right range for Atlanta

I am moving to Tel-Aviv in about three years, and I assumed it would be more expensive than London, but it isn't, so that is a relief!
