![]() This is, as the title suggests, a 'say anything' thread. It could just be some random statement, a rant, say something strange, etc.
It could be a post that creates a debate but not necessarily and could be just a simple good morning or greeting. ---oooOooo---- Where is summer? I am wearing a tee shirt and a polo-neck jumper over it. Someone put some sunshine across the Atlantic please. |

![]() Something I heard on the radio this morning:
"Of course I'm right. I'm always right. If I was any righter, I'd be leftish. Or something like that" I don't think it was scripted. It made me laugh. ![]()

![]() We just got done with about three days of solid rain here. I live in Oregon, but on the East side of the Cascade Mountains, where we get 300 days of sunshine in a normal year, so three straight days of rain can trigger serious emotional problems. There was even fresh snow on Black Butte this morning. Around here, the rule is that you don't plant your garden until all the snow is off Black Butte. Well, I waited and now it's back. Should I dig up my plants and take them back inside until it's gone??

Sounds like your weather is more of a fluke than a standard.

![]() The weather is freaky lately. We had a hosepipe ban enforced at the start of April due to a drought in this part of the UK, and within two days it started to rain and has been raining many days since. The hosepipe ban is still on though. Still, as everyone keeps telling me, "we need the rain."

![]() Actually it's pretty much the norm. Our "official" growing season (from last frost to first frost) is only 60 days. Those of us who know how to start indoors and keep plants alive outdoors can stretch that to about 120 days. I remember the first year I lived here. I was watching an Independence Day parade and it started snowing. The locals all went to their cars, got thier coats and went back to watching the parade.
