Re: Quick-Peel An Egg
This will only work if the egg isn't fresh. I was raised on an egg farm and the shells on fresh eggs stick to the egg. After a week or so (like most of the eggs in your local grocery store), some of the water has evaporated out of the egg and when you boil them they leave a tiny amount of room around the egg, making them easy to peel. With a fresh egg, the egg and the peel are very tight when you boil them and tend to stick together.
