It's not "in the general overview of news", because they don't want you to see it.

Ask yourself why the glowing reports of Occupy in the early days were considered front page news, but a riot where 8 foot poles are rammed through shop windows is not.

Over a thousand reports of incendiary, or illegal activity at Occupy were not news. Communist involvement is not news. One guy stumbling in, and accidentally stumbling in to say something reasonable, or some event the black bloc didn't feel was important enough to intend, that will be on at five.

Funny, all I put into google was OWS by itself and on the first page, three stories came up about crime. First about them being kicked off Wall Street for unruliness, the second about 10 protesters being arrested at Federal Hall on Monday, and the third about...GASP...an OWS protester attacking a cop with a metal pipe. Well, I'll be damned.

I know you want to diminish every negative story about OWS but it appears you are the one who is cherry picking and pointedly dispelling your disbelief in the possibility that there are problems with the OWS movement.

And as to your comparison with the Tea Party: the TP was bat**** crazy but they look like a model of sanity compared to these OWS trogs. And there were rarely ever any reports of violence among Tea Partiers. I can't recall any actual violence at all with them.

Whether, or not it will be big enough to be more than an irritation, or whether or not the legacy media will cover it fully will be interesting, but it's definitely coming.
