![]() I think we should work toward creating less poor people. Creating more poor people by government doing more for more people does not do that.
This especially applies when the more is paid for by taking from the producers. |

![]() I see where you are going. What I want, is to be able to purchase insurance that covers my family and myself in the event of a catastrophic injury or illness. I don't need the government in the middle of it telling me that I also need to cover gender re-assignement surgery, birth control and other issues that will not be facing my family. If I want to see a doctor when I get a bad cough, I will pay for that out of my own pocket. However, if someone in my family suffers an injury or illness that requires extensive medical care, it is covered. It is also my choice as to what level of coverage, if any, that I chose. Therefore, if I don't have coverage and an event happens that is beyond my ability to pay, I would stand to loose all that I own to pay my debts.

![]() I know you know where I am going, you will pay for others healthcare even if you get what you want, repeal Obamacare and save the profit based healthcare system. So just admit it to yourself. We have universal healthcare now and have had for years. Problem is, it is the most expensive and least effective in the world. Seems odd the conservatives have so vehemently defended it for years. Oh yea, it is profit based.

With private insurance, if I don't like the options, service, results, etc., I can chose to drop them in favor of another option. With government run UHC, I lose that ability. See the difference?
