One thing I'm not is a total partisan. I dislike the Republican party as much as the Democrat party. And that includes Bush, the self described compassionate conservative.
Bush Conservative? LOL

Let's not forget the $2,000 credit cards the Bush administration gave any resident of New Orleans. Or the millions given to the families of 9/11. Good "compassionate" ideas or bad for tax payers, they certainly are not conservative measures.

As to your previous point that he Democrats have no plan, one wonders what would be happening to Obamacare had Clinton won the election. Since the GOP has done essentially nothing, what exactly, would be different than that which is happening today?

Aetna CEO: Obamacare 'cannot be repealed, period'

It can easily be fixed so just fix it.
What the Aetna CEO wants is more Federal taxpayer bailout payments to cover their losses. Just transfer the cost of Obamacare's collapse to public Treasury. He blames the skyrocketing costs on the healthcare providers. Mind you the Federal insurance companies are just to keep premiums from rising more.

The CEO 's claim that Obamacare cannot be repealed ignores the simple arithmetic that despite the incredible difficulty of the task Republicans came within 1 Senate vote of continuing the process to dismantle it.

Again the big lie of Obamacare is revealed. It is a plan to subsidize big Pharma and the Insurance industry with Tax Dollars. It does nothing to improve "Health care."

The Republican resistance to continuing the expensive slush funding to these greedy SOB's is hardy noticed. The Corporate greed is somehow lost in the fog of political blame shifting. They went for this program in the first place, knowing full well: it was bogus. Now they are taking their ball and going home because the Congress won't give them a Bailout!!!!

Bold by me

BINGO!

The Democrats put into play a program that gave the insurance companies a captive client base, guaranteed income of a unprecedented size.

The Republicans, Trump in specific, stepped in it when saying he would replace the PPACA with 'something better'. He and the Republicans in DC are still sliding around on what's on the bottom of their shoes, now that they can't seem to come up with something acceptable to their own party members.

The Citizens will pay a price for this, and it won't be pretty.
